"Nepal Trade Union Congress organized Central Committee Meeting"

Nepal Trade Union Congress organized two day meeting of its Central Committee at Nepal Electricity Authority, Ratnapark. The program started invited high profile participant from district unit and its affiliates organization. The meeting included the proposal of the program like membership fee, CBA membership form, NTUC national council date, conference of all affiliates union: district and central, NTUC conference: province and region. The date of the program was discussed with the mutual consent in the meeting.
President of NTUC, Mr. Khilanath Dahal urge to pressure the government because the incumbent government consist of the two minister: labour minister and industrial minister. The amendment of the law No Work No Pay and Hire and Fire was discussed by every personnel who acclaimed the ceremony. General Secretary of NTUC, Mr. Mahendra Prasad Yadav presented the organizational report and also added not to be the NGO by favoring or boot licking the Nepali Congress and its leaders. Meanwhile, Treasurer presented the financial report and also suggested to remind Nepali congress about the Understanding letter that has been signed between Nepal Trade Union Congress and President of Nepali Congress, belated Sushil Koirala.
The meeting also held the discussion of ongoing construction building of NTUC. Mr. Ayodhya Yadav explained the process and progress and most of the details of the procedure. He also indicated that with the self interest of some leaders and member of NTUC, Nepali Congress has been ignoring neglecting NTUC. Also, Vice-president of NTUC, Mr. Ganesh Niraula discussed about the constitution revision agendas of NTUC.
NTUC central members and the representatives went to the president of Nepali Congress Mr. Sher Bahadur Deubaand make concern about the Understanding between Nepali Congress and NTUC. They also presented the memorandum to the President.Finally, the meeting concluded with the date and time that is to be decide itself affiliates and the district unit. The schedule and the way of protest that will be conducted by NTUC. Nearly 70 members attended the two day meeting.
