NTUC women committee vows for employment policy implementation

On the occasion of 107th International Women's Workers day, NTUC/ILO jointly organized a National Campaign on "dignified jobs for women empowerment". The campaign was organized immediate after the March 8 Rally at NEA Meeting Hall, Ratnapark. Brother Khailanath Dahal president of NTUC highlighted the importance of women in decent jobs. He also elaborated that NTUC is campaigning on proper implementation on National Employment Policy in Nepal to generate employment.
Simliarly, Sister Sudha Dahal chairperson of NTUC Women's' Committee has emphasised on creating of women employment is necessary to develop the nation. Brother Tilak Jang Khadka-Executive Officer of NTUC has highlighted the points of National Employment Policy of Nepal 2014/15 with its core employment priority area. The workshop was facilitated by Sister Radha Chalise – Member of women's committee. There were about 150 participants in the campaign comprising both male and female.
