National Job Fair 2017 being held in Kathmandu

Nepal Government/Ministry of Labour and Employment has been organizing a 6 days "Nepal International Trade Fair 2017" at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu from 16 March 2017.  A separate Job Fair 2017 stall is setup within the Nepal International Trade Fair 2017, where number of youth jobs seekers registering their name and qualifications. The stall is also a hub for the employers, where they also register their vacancies. This is first time in Nepal, the ministry of Labour and Employment is taking this initiative with the support of ILO/KOIKA & FNCCI. 

NTUC has been campaigning to proper implementation of the National Employment Policy of Nepal 2014/15 to generate employment in Nepal.  As a part of campaign NTUC officials also visited the Job Fair -2017 and observed the registration process of job seekers.
