Nepal Trade Union Congress Youth Committee celebrate International Youth Day

August 12, 2017, Lalitpur.

On the occassion of International Youth Day, Nepal Trade Union Congress Youth Committee celebrate International Youth day. With the Slogan "Goal Against Unemployment", the match was held at ANFA Complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur. The Chief Guest of the program was Honrable minister for Labour and Employment Mr. Farmulla Mansoor. The Chairman of the program was NTUC youth committee president Mr. Baldev Tamang. Similiarly, President of NTUC Mr. Khila Nath Dahal was the special guest.

Chief Guest Mr. Mansoor applauded the efforts made by NTUC youth. "We are working for the youth's employment policy inside the country and minimmize the outflow of country potential labour assests", he said. He also retorted to monitor and improve the agencies of foreign employment and manpower companies. Likewise, Mr. Dahal vouched for the favor of Nepali youths who have been forced due to disparity in the labour market and lack of weak vision for youth employment policy by the government. "NTUC has been educating, advoccating and playing essential role for the empowerment of youths", he added. Also, Mr. Tamang told that NTUC youth has been focusing unemployment as a main theme for the challenges to be addressed. Therefore, it has kept goal against unemployment in the main slogan to gain attention.

The match kickoff at 11:00 am between NTUC informal workers and formal workers. In the 90 min of the game, NTUC formal won the match by 3-2 against NTUC informal. President Khila Nath Dahal handed the wining trophy to the wining side. More than, 200 attended the match.
