Nepal Trade Union Congress submitted delegation to Employment and Labour Minister

Nepal Trade Union Congress representatives submitted delegtion to Honorable mininster for labour and employment Mr. Farmullah Mansoor on Tuesday at Singhadurbar, Kathmandu. The representatives who took part in the delegation process were NTUC President Mr. Khila Nath Dahal, Vice President Mr. Ganesh Niraula, Women Vice President Ms. Rama Poudel, NTUC deputy General Secretary Ms. Aasha Singh Rathor, NTUC youth committee President Mr. Bal Dev Tamang, NTUC Migration Department Coordinator Mr. Dawa Sanghe Lama, and NTUC central members and representatives of Affiliate Union.
The laconic program ended for a few moment. The main objective of delegation was to clarify NTUC perspectives of Foreign employment and also the 22 points demand towards labour ministry in order to include in its plan and policy. The demand letter simply ask to vouch for the safety and sustainability of migrant workers and theirs well beings. It also gave emphasis upon the coordination of NTUC along with Government of Nepal plan and policy regarding the foreign employment.
Meanwhile, Deputy General Secretary took some time to present the demand infront of Honorable minister and all the delegates there. After the process was complete, the discussion took place on the demand letter and honorable minister opted to include it. On the otherhand, he also mentioned that most of the demand are already included or are in the process. Also, Sabirmand B.K president of NTUC affiliated arpet Workers Union requested to rescue the victims who is stranded more than 7 years in Kuwait. Similarly, NTUC women vice-president Ms. Rama Poudel also urge to help wife of NTUC construction workers Union member Mr. Furba Tamang who is also inhumanely treated and expoilted in Oman,
The program went upto couple hour, President Khila Nath Dahal submitted the demand letter to Honorable minister and also requested to provide the assistance towards Trade Union. There were 28 people partiipated in the program.
