Nepal Trade Union Congress expressed deep sympathy to storm effected people of Bara & Parsa

2nd April, 2019, Kathmandu, Nepal. Nepal Trde Union Congress expressed deep sympathy to people who were effected from deadly storm at Bara and Parsa district. The hurroundous hurricane took place on 31st March, 2019 around 8:00 pm of local time. The storm struck mainly in the western part of Bara and Parsa District. Till date, 40 people have been declared death and more than 700 people are still injured gravely. Domestic animals and infrastructure casualties are yet to be confirmed.

Nepal Trade Union Congress has expressed deep sympathy to the natural disaster tragedy in the region. The press release has been circulated to every province, district commitee and 26 affiliates union requesting to provide helping hands and support from their respective premise. Likewise, Nepal Trade Union Congress president from Bara and Parsa distrit visited the disastrous place an people and also committed to gather help from the centre, provincial and local level administration.
