NTUC convene 3rd Central Committee Meeting

22nd October, 2019, Kathmandu.

3rd Central Committee meeting of Nepal Trade Union Congress successfully conducted here at Kathmandu. National Committee member of NTUC, 7 Provincial President, representatives of 26 Affiliates Union and 13 department chief participated in the 3 day extended meeting. The meeting was chaired by NTUC president Brother Pushkar Acharya. Brother Yogendra Kumar Kunwar, general secretary of NTUC faciliated the meeting.

During the 1st Day, Brother Yogendra Kumar Kunwar welcomed and provided the code of conduct of the meeting. He also presented the agenda of the meeting. Afterwards, President of NTUC 7 province, 26 affiliates union, 13 department gave the status of their organizational report and there were exchange of feedbacks and comments to the particular presentation.

Likewise, In the 2nd Day of the meeting, Bro. Yogendra Kumar Kunwar and Mohan Kumar Basnet presented organizational and Financial report of NTUC respectively. In the meantime. There were also documents of various NTUC ongoing project which was presented by concern Project Focal person. Furthermore, Among 7 NTUC advisors, 6 were present. Namely, Bro. Laxman Bahadur Basnet, Ramjee Kunwar, Radhakant Dev, Ganesh Prasad Niraula, Achyut Raj Pandey, Kalpana Adhikary all gave their suggestion and feedback to the improvement and better functioning of Nepal Trade Union Congress.

During the last day of the meeting, employee bilaws of NTUC were also presented to the NTUC Central Committee. The agenda related to the convention of yoouth and women were discussed and after the suggestion compiled will be presented to the National Council of NTUC.

The meeting was scheduled for 2 days but extended to one more days from 22nd October, 2019 to 204th October, 2019.
