NTUC Concluded its 7th National Convention in Kathmandu

NTUC has successfully concluded its 7th National Convention in Nepal Academy Hall, Kathmandu, Nepal on 19-21 June 2023. The National Convention also elected new leadership (Executive Committee) as well as the Women and Youth Committee for term 2023 to 2027 with the leadership of Mr. Yogendra Kumar Kunwar. The election took place on 21st June 2023 at the Nepal Academy Hall in Kathmandu with 890 delegates (300 Women and 90 Youths). 890 Delegates and same numbers of observer participated in 1st day where top of the Nepali Congress Party leaders (Honorable Purna Bahadur Khadka - Vice President of Nepali Congress Party as well as Deputy Prime Minister Defense Minister of Nepal Government, Honorable Dr. Shekhar Koirala Leader of Nepali Congress, Honorable Dhanraj Gurung, Vice President and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Honorable Gagan Kumar Thapa – General Secretary of Nepali Congress Party, Honorable Bishwa Prakash Sharma – General Secretary of Nepali Congress Party, Mr. Krishna Prasad Sitaula leader of Nepali Congress Party), Guest from TUs here in Nepal as well as from the Globe and TUSSOs representative attended the opening ceremony and deliberated their speech.
