NTUC President elected as the Substitute Member of ILO Governing Body

NTUC Central Office organized an exchange of best wishes and congratulation program on the occasion of appointment of NTUC President Mr. Yogendra Kumar Kunwar as the substitute member of ILO Governing Body at its central office in Kathmandu on 17 June 2024. NTUC President was elected as a Substitute Member in the ILO Governing Body for the three years' tenure from 2024 to 2027 from 112th session of International Labour Conference (ILC) concluded in Geneva on 3-14 June 2024. 

On the occasion, NTUC Senior Vice President, other officials, representatives from the district committees and staff congratulated and wished him the best for his successful tenure. NTUC Senior Vice President Mr. Tejendra Jang Karki, congratulating him on behalf the entire NTUC family, hoped that the image of NTUC and the trade union movement in Nepal will take another height in national and international forums during his tenure. NTUC President Mr. Yogendra Kumar Kunwar thanked NTUC family for organizing such event. He shared his experience during the 112th session of International Labour Conference. He said the responsibility was the honor for the NTUC and the entire trade union movement in Nepal. He promised to fulfill this responsibility honestly. He thanked NTUC family, JTUCC, ITU-NAC, JILAF and other national and international organizations for their support in securing this position.
