2nd Life Support Seminar Concleded in Biratnagar

Nepal Trade Union Congress (NTUC) has completed the 2nd LIFE Support Seminar in Biratnagar on 27th December 2015 with the collaboration of ILO and JILAF. The seminar was organized to sensitize and aware the informal workers about how to improves their life style. The main theme of the Life Support Seminar was an opportunity for informal sector workers, their family members and community members to learn about the concept of the SGRA project and to receive useful information for the betterment of their lives. The workshop was kicked off by Mr. Dik Ghimire, Secretary of NTUC Eastern regional by master of ceremony. The Workshop was chaired by Mr. Shushil Kaoirala, President of NTUC Morang. Mr.  Amrit Aryal, President of Nepali Congress Morang district was invited in a seminar as a chief guest. Mr. Laxman Basnet, General-Secretary of SARTUC was invited as special guest in the opening ceremony. General-Secretary of NTUC Mr. Mahendra Pd. Yadav, Dept. General-Secretary of NTUC Ms. Asha Singh Rathor, Trasurer of NTUC Mr. Yogendra K. Kunwar, Representative of JILAF Mr. Laxman Shahi and Mr. Anil Raj Shreshtha and Mr. Narayan Babu Karki from NTUC eastern region were invited as a guest. Ms. Poojan from NTUC district  committee welcoming the Chief Guest, guest and all the leaders of NTUC and all the participants who participated in the same.   The entire guest wished to successful workshop in their speech. And the entire guest deliberated their message to improve the life style of informal workers. Mr. Indra Deo Yadav was explained about the different public services which provided by the government of Nepal and how to use those service to improve our life style. Mr. Yogendra K. Kunwar, Trasurer of NTUC serve the session after launch and explain about the cooperative and its importance. All the presentations are attached here with for information. More than 50 TU members directly benefited from the seminar and able to advocate the other TU union member about the Government service by using the toolkit.
