NTUC-JILAF Non Formal School Management Meeting Concluded

April 13, 2017, Kathmandu.

On the joint Coordination of Nepal Trade Union Congress and JILAF, Non Formal School Management meeting concluded here at Nepal Trade Union Congress, Anamnagar,, Kathmandu. The one day meeting which lasted for 5 hours was chaired by Nepal Trade Union Congress Vice-President Mr. Ganesh Prasad Niraula. The Chief Guest of the Program was General Secretary of JILAF Mr. Riyo Saito. The program was faciliated by NTUC affilated transport Union's General Secretary Mr. Dharma Bhandary.

Ms. Sushila Ghimire, Central member of NTUC gave honored the guest and formally start the meeting program. After that, Mr Saito addressed the new recruitment and promoted teachers of Palpa and kailali. He also craked jokes about the formality of speech and told the improvement of the lengthiness. Besides the disastrous earthquake, the project was achieved he targeted objectives and goal and vowed that it will help in the economic development.

Similarly, General Secretary of NTUC Mr. Mahendra Prasad Yadav said that JILAF has helped in eradiction of structural biasness in the education system as it has been providing the opportunity for the disadvantaged, socially excluded and poor people. Likewise, Mr. Niraula told that the partnership between NTUC and JILAF has passed the silver Jublee. There are various coordination project between these organization and it will be even more stronger in coming future, he added. Advocacy program, Labour rights, sustainable development are some of the sectors that has been altogther assisted by JILAF, he stressed.

Finally, there was the discussion among 9 district at which the progam is going to elongate for the fiscal year 2017-2020. From Morang Mr. Dik Ghimire, Bara Mr. Madhav Upadhyay, Palpa Mr. Rama Panta, Rupandehi Mr. Kajiman Shrestha, Nawalparasi Ms. Bimala Chaudhary, Kaski Ms. Kuldei Baral, Kailali Mr. Ram Bahadur Deuba, Bhaktapur Ms. Tulasa Khanal and Parsa Mr. Chotelal Prasad were the representatives who presented the secnario of present and past about the plans and policy of their respective district. They also tabled the progress report and infomation of the school and students. NTUC Vice-President Mr. Ayodhya Prasad Yadav gae the closing remarks. He gave exaplme of the importance abouth the education and cited from the video that was showed by Parsa group: the video was about the socially excluded and disadvantged group.
