NTUC and Resident Representative of FES Nepal meeting concluded

June 2, 2017, Kathmandu.

Nepal Trade Union Congress welcomed newly appointed FES Annette Schlicht Resident Representative, Nepal Office here at NTUC meeting hall, Anamnagar, Kathmandu. The objectives of the meeting was to provide the information about Nepal Trade Union Congress and the historical relationship between FES. Nepal Trade Unio Congress President Mr. Khila Nath Dahal, Vice President Mr. Ganesh Niroula, Vice President Mr. Ayodhya Yadav, Women Vice President Ramal Poudel, Deputy General Secretary Ms. Aasha Singh Rathor, NTUC centrral member Ms. Pratima Shah, D.P Aryal, NTUC youth president Mr. Baldev Tamang, NTUC executive officer Mr. Tilak Jung Khadka, NTUC Media and Migration Officer Mr. Sujan Karki and so on. On behalf of FES Ms. Annette Schlicht and Program officer Mr. Chandra D Bhatta were present.

Mr. Dahal officially welcomed Ms. Schlicht and Mr. Bhatta by puting garland. He later moved the session further by explaining Nepal Trade Union Congress. Those consist of background, introduction, cision, mission, objectives, priority areas, outcomes, partner institution, working sectors and so on. After that, Ms. Schlicht clarified her queries about the capacity building process content. Mr. Dahal and Mr. Niroula stressed the crystal ideas regarding such questions. Later, Ms. Poudel also gave gratitude to FES. She said that due to the support and assistance she was able to build her capacity. And expect to get the additional partenship from FES in the gender issues.
