Nepal Trade Union Congress stands with Nepal Tea Garden Workers Union Protest

Nepal Trade Union Congress expressed solidarity in the strike and protest of Nepal Trade Union Congress affiliates union, Nepal Tea Garden Workers Union and similiar union at Jhapa, Nepal. Tea workers has been agitating with the company regarding the implementation of new labour act, contribution based social security, 2074 and also minimum wage fixed for the tea workers.

Nepal Trade Union Congress committed that it will not undermine the exclusion of tea workers and vouched government, employers to become serious about the problem and resolve as soon as possible.
