NTUC Submits Memorandum to Labour Minister through all 77 District Administration Offices

All the 77 district committees of Nepal Trade Union Congress (NTUC) have submitted a memorandum to the Labour Minister through the Chief District Officer.

On Thursday, the union submitted a memorandum to press for fixing the minimum wage of workers at Rs 25,000. Nepal Trade Union Congress has been pressurizing the government to increase the wages to Rs 25,000 as the current wages would make it difficult for the workers to live their daily lives. Union members send the SMS to Labour Secretary, Labour Minister and Prime Minister on 12th July 2023 and demand to fix the Minimum wages Npr. 25,000.

Similarly, all the seven provincial committees are scheduled to submit a memorandum to the state government on 29th July and the central committee to the labour minister on 16th July 2023.
